Having just read the Torah portion in which the rainbow first appeared, I'm not trying to argue against anyone else's personal perspective of "choice or no choice." I understand what it is to not be accepted. I understand what it is to be shunned for who I am, while others are embraced, and it is quite disheartening to watch. I can tell you first hand what it feels like to have society think and affirm one thing, while the actual circumstances are not what others see. Rejection and exclusion doesn't just happen to the LGBT community. What we do about our feelings and inclinations is a choice. What we do in response to rejection or acceptance is a choice. To socially redefine right and wrong really isn't our choice.
The rainbow has significance for many of us. It first appeared in Scripture between our Creator and Noah, the man reported to have built the ark.

Kids Should Be Allowed to Be Kids
There used to be a saying, "Kids will be kids," but no more. Childhood is being redefined or stolen . . . We've gone from allowing children to explore with their natural G-d given curiosity to intensive programming introducing an unnatural curiosity.
Children are naturally curious about a number of things. Most children are drawn to nature . . . naturally. The sad part of childhood now, however; is our society does not focus on the simple things of nature. Many children, from a very early age, do not see much sunlight, much less enjoy the outdoors at their own pace or with siblings. We began institutionalizing our children from birth, at least one generation ago. Of course we didn't call it institutionalizing, it was "day care, pre-school, or head start." This was the launch pad for Common Core Curriculum and much more subtle than "Youth Camps."
We here at the Goshen Gazette will be posting reports as Common Core Curriculum continues in our public school system.
The charges were dropped against this man, but that also means he originally faced charges for questioning Common Core Curriculum. That's right, the father was arrested through the Q&A portion of the Town Hall Meeting for attempting to exercise Free Speech.

Chimera?
The term chimera was a reference in mythology to a creature comprised of the characteristics of more than one animal . . .
I remember reading about the possibility of genetically altering some animal DNA with human DNA on the pretext of possibly needed transplants . . . I stepped out of man-made health care many years ago, and none too soon, but this concept is really eerie.
I knew medical science was already using vessels from pigs in replacing valves, etc. which should give most logical folks pause, in consuming pork. It must be fairly close to human flesh to be used in heart surgery. Since I don't eat pork and I don't go to doctors, I don't feel this is my issue, but we need to really consider what may transpire if the DNA of animals is engineered with human DNA.
The article below covers a university study of DNA engineering on sheep. These are animals in our food supply. What happens when these animals mate and breed? Will the engineered DNA be dominate? We've already seen that with vegetables and Monsanto.
We are making the world a very scary, blurry place now that the wisdom of man which was already called foolishness by our Creator, is being funded to actually alter creation. Creation was called, GOOD, by our Creator.

A Trend of Health Issues
I haven't actually taken a survey, but it seems high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes, are at an all time high. I realize I'm going to sound a little jaded with this next statement, but in the case of all three of these issues, there isn't a cure, only a long term symptom management, a.k.a. lifetime prescription.
As I read the statistics and the increase in prescriptions, and I didn't even address anti-anxiety medications, I can't help but notice two things. One, it seems that all of our information is focused on making people upset or divided or hopeless. Two, all of the programmed information is surrounded as well as includes pharmaceutical advertisement. Then, there's the religious nationalism, that seems to keep people upset and angry, while television preachers are telling everyone to have a positive mental attitude. Sort of reminds me of what Jeremiah was dealing with.
I'm really seeing a direct correlation between the anger that is incited by media and news, the health tests that reveal an " ongoing need" for one of the big pharmaceuticals, and the pressure to "keep the faith" when the guy talking is not walking in the Power!
Now, I certainly cannot make a diagnosis, but I can ask a few questions and I can share an observation. How many people lived to a ripe old age before political hate mongering was an American pass time? How many Americans lived with whatever ailed them or didn't before there were all the tests promoting results that required the latest pharmaceutical? How many people feel "fine" until the test says they aren't?
This religious nationalism that has served to divide over hot button issues without resolution may actually be contributing to the fulfillment of the Words of Y'hshuwah, when He spoke of men's heart's failing them.
I can't imagine anything harder on the human body, than a diet in rebellion of the Creator's Instructions, anger and division of just what the American dream is, while hearing we must speak positive faith and demonstrate unconditional love!

Tzitziyot
The people of YHWH are promised health in obedience to the Commandments: Exodus 15:26
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of YHWH thy G-d, and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and wilt give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am YHWH Raphah, [your Healer.]
This was right after the children of Israel left Egypt and before Moses was given the Torah at Mt. Sinai. It is an everlasting promise for our earthly bodies.
Numbers 15:37-40
This woman with the issue of blood took the hem of Y'hshuwah's garment, never breaking Torah, nor was Messiah unclean for even a moment! The statutes in Leviticus 15:19-25 were very strict regarding all the things that were not to be touched to remain clean. Messiah never touched her in her state of uncleanness, and touching the hem of his garment was not disobedience to Torah. The hem, or border [fringe] of the garment was not something sat upon or laid upon . . .

The border of the garment in the Hebrew translated to the hem of the garment in the Greek. This woman knew Torah. She knew the importance of keeping the Commandments and statutes for health in this life. Matthew 9:20-22 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. But Y'hshuwah turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. |

issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be
unclean.
Zach's great video about tzitziyot and the Scriptural account of this particular situation, I find to be so amazing and inspiring in my own life as a follower of Y'hshuwah and also a servant/child of YHWH. Not only is wearing tzitziyot, walking in obedience, it is also walking in readiness of service to bring glory to YHWH.

State and Federal Laws
I followed a case for some time last year awaiting the final outcome earlier this year, and now that I've seen the results regarding DOMA, I'm going to draw a question of the parallel. I'm not even interested in the reasoning behind either decision, I'm just pointing out the inconsistency.
The federal government now recognizes and affords full benefits for same sex marriage in the states that have legalized same sex marriage.
On the other hand, the DEA is still making busts in states that have legalized medical marijuana, and it's a federal offense. The sentences are so off the chart that most agree to a plea bargain, so going to the Supreme Court is off the table as well. But then, there's big money in Big Pharma, and citizen captivity in this particular issue.
I will offer this perspective. Nowhere in Scripture is marijuana forbidden, but it is in most states, so the people suffer. Until Big Pharma came along and realized they couldn't have a patent, it was legal in the United States. Torah, on the other hand has plenty to say about sexual sin. The LGBT issue is not my sin of choice, although; I've chosen to commit a few myself, there is no question as to where our Creator stands on the subject.
Our Federal government has taken upon itself to keep nature illegal; while legalizing that which is unnatural.

Another Good Reason to Not Place our Faith in The Wisdom of Man
I will openly admit, this is an editorialized view. I do not place my faith in the wisdom of man. In Torah we find that YHWH told His people to bring their ailments to the High Priest. According to the book of Hebrews, my High Priest is sitting at the right hand of YHWH.
Psalms tells us YHWH created vegetation to eat and herbs for the service of humanity. That information has been good enough for me, for well over a decade now. My latest book, "Wilt Thou Be Made Whole?" tells of the actual quote of Messiah regarding physicians. He said, "They that are whole need not a physician." We are promised to be made whole in Messiah.
In light of the information in these articles, to be honest, I'd rather stand before the throne of YHWH and say, "I didn't know you wanted me to go to doctors . . ." than to stand at the mercy of those who are implanting these ideas and pharmaceuticals.
